A new label for Chamina travel

Based in Clermont-Ferrand and Langogne in Lozere, in the heart of the National Park of the Cevennes, the Agency Chamina travel offers since its inception at the dawn of the 1980s, responsible, solidarity-based and very focused trips on the hike. It is therefore logical that she decided to apply to component 3 of the European Charter for sustainable tourism.

Travel focus on man and nature

"The approach spawned there, it was a little more than two years, said Laurent Bourdenet, Director of Chamina." "Since the beginning we have been supported by the National Park of the Cevennes, with which we work has always been, and is a territory on which many of our offers are gathered." "Our agency wished to continue the work undertaken following its affiliation with IPAMAC, says Pascal Saint-Jean, head of products France and responsible for the relations with the parks. If a Park wishes to join component 3 of the Charter, it must be able to find a tour operator's trust located on its territory, however we had already undertaken with them a process of labelling of the hiking trips on the area of the National Park.

In addition to the Park, Chamina has also received the support and approval of ATR (acting for a responsible tourism), which it is a member since 2008 and has recently received the AFNOR certification. Thanks to this support of weight, Chamina could better understand the topic of component 3 and its Charter, namely how to integrate, and propose a credible candidacy.

"For us, it is a logical and approach complementary to those that we had already incorporated previously, says Laurent Bourdenet. Since the inception of our agency, we always wanted to never betray our ethics, which is to offer our customers environmentally friendly travel men, nature and territories."

In this sense, Chamina receives approval to strand 3 of the CETS as beautiful proof of recognition, both in France and across Europe. A bonus for this agency that has always wanted to best preserve the territories on which it sends its customers, and who benefits today a further engage its seriousness and its commitment to allow all those who wish to "voyager autrement"...
